Dr. Tom Clemens, Professor of History at Hagerstown Community College, will present a program on the Civil War Battle of South Mountain, which played a critical part in the Maryland Campaign of 1862. The program will examine three major fights of the battle, stressing why they occurred, what happened, and how the results shaped future events. Free and open to the public.
